From Highway 101, use Highway 156 Westbound (catch this in Prunedale, 10 miles north of Salinas) to get to Highway 1 Southbound. The sign for 156 West will read “Monterey Peninsula”. It is about 5 miles long and automatically merges with Highway 1 in the southbound direction.You will travel along highway 1-S for about 12 miles before entering the Monterey area. You will go another 3-4 miles through the Monterey exits and you will be looking for highway 68-W, the sign will read “PACIFIC GROVE and PEBBLE BEACH”. As you are exiting, stay in the right lane, you will be making a right turn at the stoplight, following the signs that read ‘Pacific Grove’. Highway 68 is a curvy undivided road that winds through a forested area for a few miles before reaching the top of Pacific Grove. You will see a Safeway store on your left side and at this point highway 68 has blended into a main street in Pacific Grove called Forest Avenue. Get in the right lane and stay on Forest Ave. for 1.5 - 2 miles. You will be looking to make left turn on Lighthouse Ave; it is in the heart of the downtown Pacific Grove business district and there will be a stop sign at the intersection. After turning left on Lighthouse, you will travel about 1 mile before finding us on your right hand side.
